As you probably know, our Subtitles plugin is also compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro, but it seems like many users do not see the plugin available in the effects browser of the application.
In an ideal world this shouldn’t happen, however here are some things that you need to check to make sure that it becomes available and ready to use in Adobe Premiere Pro if your system meets the requirements.
First make sure that you have installed FxFactory, preferably the latest version. If you do not have it, then get it from the Noise Industries web site [ LINK ]
–This would be a definite solution and “the” reason why you do not see the plugins in any supported application.
Once you have installed FxFactory in your system, double check that the version of Adobe Premiere Pro meets the requirements of the Subtitles plugin:
Subtitles is compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 6.0.2 and CC 7.0.1.
If you have anything prior to these versions, then you would have to update Premiere in order to use Subtitles.
– Keep in mind that we do not recommend the update in the middle of a production project, a deadline or delicate situation where the update may break any of the other important plugins or video card drivers that you may have installed in your system.
If you have checked the above steps, then the probable reason for the Subtitles plugin not appearing in Adobe Premiere Pro may be related to the “activation” of the plugin. Here is how you check if it is activated:
Go to the Applications folder and open the FxFactory Application.
– In the Products browser scroll down until you find the Subtitles plugin from SUGARfx and double check that the plugin is activated (a check mark should be visible).
–If the plugin is not enabled or active, click on this button to make it active.
If the plugin was NOT enabled and you just enabled it, then you would have to restart Adobe Premiere Pro in order for the plugin to become available in the list of effects.
We hope this helps the users who have trouble enabling the plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro.
